Acceptance Of Now

Within the acceptance of now lies more power than we can presently envision. Past and future are non-existent and unable to drain us of what we need to act effectively and efficiently. Acceptance Of Now

When we keep things simple by focusing on what is in front of us to do in the present moment, all complexity fades away. It is merely a matter of clearing away some of the debris within our minds so that we can make choices and decisions with greater clarity.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

— Carl Rogers —

Acceptance of Now Begins with the Acceptance of Self

It should come as no surprise that when we accept ourselves fully, including both successes and failures, we feel more alive. We are able to progress freely toward our goals without the excess baggage of regret and worry.

This simple choice made consciously empowers us tremendously. We are tapping into the power of the present moment to fuel our progress toward our objectives and goals.

We now have a legitimate starting point from which to progress. Being confident with who we are right at this moment without any regrets over past mistakes empowers us to make a difference by expressing who we truly are.

Living an authentic life enables us to face all challenges knowing we will only become stronger as a result of meeting and overcoming them. We find so much satisfaction in the journey itself because that is where the action is.

All this takes place in the present moment and our increased awareness empowers us to not only accept ourselves fully but to express ourselves fully. We realize that we are meant to do great things by leading a masterful life.

Our creativity empowers our productivity as we learn to think and do things in a specific way that leads to the results we desire. Our very presence elevates all those around us.

Stepping Out to Greatness

“Do not allow your fires to go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not at all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you deserve can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours.” — Ayn Rand —

We are able to attain so much more with the acceptance of the now. From our clarified starting point we move forward step by little step into the unknown to discover who we really are and of what we are capable.

At this point, there are no ordinary moments. We create as we move along toward our goals and destiny. We are now stepping out with vigor and enthusiasm tapping into our natural genius.

We break our bondage to all distractions including excess technology and complexity. Our talents deserve our attention as well as to be shared. It is our responsibility to create a magnificent life and to be a force for good in this wonderful world.

We must restructure our lives to model greatness and release any thoughts of mediocrity. Once we realize that we have it all now within ourselves to be legendary in all aspects of our lives, we become willing givers rather than takers.

What a refreshing change of mind and heart that is. We are now valuable to ourselves and others. We provide quality in all that we do as well as become truly helpful to many.

Our private and business lives are based on integrity and ethics in all we do and accomplish. This rewards us with true inner peace.

Acceptance of Now Solves the Riddle of LifeAcceptance of Now

It is only in the now that the majesty and treasures of life are revealed. The acceptance of now goes well beyond a mere temporary break from the hectic pace of existence and transcends all limiting barriers to our greatness.

All the questions that we may have that we usually ignore are revealed from a source within ourselves that we are able to tap into in the present moment. One brief instant is all that it takes to break free from our self-imposed barriers.

The riddle of life is always questioning why we are not performing at our best as well as trying to understand what our purpose in life really is. We are able to solve this riddle with a little bit of clarity of thought that is gained by letting go and being here now.

It sounds simple but our habitual pattern is to stay stuck in our default conditioning that is based on false premises and beliefs about ourselves. That is why many of us are stuck in being average and not expressing ourselves fully and reaching our true potential.

Regardless of this, we do have an internal call to greatness and excellence. It is up to us to decide when we will respond to that call.

Mediocrity and limitation are not for us. We were built for being extraordinary in all areas of our lives. We have all experienced difficult times in our lives. Things may not have turned out the way we envisioned when we were young.

We didn’t plan on feeling stuck in a life that repeats itself continuously with the same worries and responsibilities. It is time to break free, solve our own individual riddle, and liberate ourselves to our greatness.

When we do break free we are introduced to our genius selves who have been waiting all so patiently for us to awaken. At this point, we are no longer enslaved by meaningless desires and frustrating endeavors. We use technology to serve us rather than enslave us.

All of this comes about as a result of the acceptance of now. Our power resides in the present moment to be used creatively for the benefit of ourselves and others. Let us all move forward and grasp our true potential for greatness.

May we all fulfill our destinies with joy and love,

Joseph William

  1. Very honest and inspiring text. Everyone should read this, especially in a moment of disappointment. I think it helps a lot, to see the world and ourselves differently. A lot of people don’t value themselves as much as they should and we are satisfied with the little things. Appreciate and love yourself.

  2. Yes,
I agree that focusing on what is in front of us to do in the present or future is the way to go. looking at or dwelling on the past simply does not help us focus in a positive manner on what’s ahead in our present or future moments.

    Thanks for this inspiration,

  3. Hi Joseph, Thanks for sharing. I agree with your point here that to really get to where we want to be in life acceptance of the now is key. We must take the time to do the most important things to get them done before we can move on to do other things. What I do as often as possible is write a list of things to do on a piece of paper. This might seem like nothing to some people because you could probably just keep this all in your memory but for me, these are the things that I can act upon in the now. It’s strange really because the days I don’t do this I’m less productive than the days I do this.

Also, the main thing is sometimes these tasks that I write on my to-do lists don’t take much time to do at all. Some will just never end up getting done if I don’t write them down. I think personally how I think your article is relevant is because it all builds up this list of tasks that needs doing. They all stay in your mind and other important things get pushed back further and further. So yes I think the acceptance of now is important for this. Choosing a selection of tasks to do on the day or over 2 days and getting them out the way. This is key for anyone looking to build something successfuly I think.

    • Thanks for your insights on this Alex. Having a list of things to do based on priority helps tremendously or we will simply forget many of the items as we go about our day. For those things we may be resisting a bit, seeing them down on the list will keep them in our minds and there is a high probability they will get done just so we can check them off the list. All the best.
