It is not as difficult to step into success as we may initially suppose. There are just a few things to put into their correct place.
The mystery is solved when we realize that this is an inner process, rather than manipulating things to fall into place on the outside. Let’s explore a few ideas for this fascinating subject.
“Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”
Step into Success Harmoniously
“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
We often get into our own way on our journey to success when we attempt to make or force things to happen. There is no problem with taking action, but when we try too hard to make it happen there is doubt and fear concealed within.
The key element is having a realization from the start of any venture of our self-worth and knowing that any worthwhile endeavor based on our heartfelt desire is destined to succeed. When we truly have this foundation in place we are then able to move forward with confidence and the trust that all is well.
Any project is bound to have its many twists and turns and apparent failures. We should welcome failure, or even better see all failures as lessons that need to be learned, as part of the process of reaching our destination.
When we have this mindset in place we have positioned ourselves to enjoy the journey rather than reacting to every twist and turn that doesn’t meet our approval with stress and worry. At that point, we are not living our lives with the harmony and peace of mind of knowing all is well in the present moment.
Providing Value to Others
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
We are most happy and harmonious when we provide value and assistance to others in creating any level of success. Success means something different to each person, but its main ingredient is possessing a level of joy and happiness in being of service.
When we provide service that is helpful to others we already are successful. The money, as is often said, is just a way of keeping score.
Ways to Step into Success
“Success is the sum of small efforts – repeated day in and day out.”
Let’s get a little bit more specific now in finding ways to attain the success we most desire.
Happiness is within so when we are happy now any success is just the frosting on the cake. We attain our happiness through clarity, not only of our goals but an understanding of who we really are and of the power that we possess right this moment.
Once we have this clarity we are then able to move forward with confidence. Let’s create a short checklist to get us started and then we will get into how to attain this clarity.
- Determine what we desire most.
- Create a plan with the understanding it will change as we gain additional experience and information.
- Take inspired action based on an inner urge to proceed regardless of what resistance may appear.
- See any resistance as a blessing as it reveals the specific beliefs that are holding us back.
- Avoid distractions by preparing a distraction-free area to work and create a focused-based mindset.
- Welcome any and all errors and mistakes as learning lessons that enhance our abilities.
- Seek help as needed from someone who has the experience that we require.
- Adapt as necessary to any changes in our roadmap based on new experiences and information.
- Trust and believe in ourselves to get the job done no matter the challenges and obstacles.
- Surround ourselves with positive people and maintain a positive mindset no matter what outside feedback comes our way.
- Take time to acknowledge our progress and celebrate our successes whatever the size they may be.
- When stuck walk away and take some time to allow things to settle down and then identify the smallest step we can take to solve our challenge.
- Take breaks to refresh and renew our energy and focus.
- Network with others in the area being pursued.
- Balance things out with exercise and a healthy diet.
- Maintain consistency by monitoring our activity rather than specific results.
- Better to set timeframes for specific projects but not the overall desired result which may be delayed due to changes to our plan along the way.
- Always be open to new ways of doing things. Learning never stops no matter the level of our success.
- Let’s be grateful for all that we have and all that is on the way to us. Progress consists of many little steps along the way for which to be grateful.
Creating the Needed Clarity to Succeed
Having specific goals and intentions is critical. They not only need to be specific but as Napoleon Hill mentioned in “Think and Grow Rich”, it must be a “burning desire” as well.
Then we have the needed clarity to proceed and any obstacles along the way will be considered just temporary inconveniences as well as lessons to learn.
In order to gain this clarity it is necessary to spend some quiet time and identify what ignites our emotions in terms of expressing our unique talents and abilities which we all possess. If not sure what they are start writing and don’t stop until excitement fills your body with anticipation and a sense of awe.
Spend as much time as necessary to generate this type of enthusiasm which is needed as we progress toward our goals. We then have the persistence and perseverance to continue when times get a bit challenging along the way.
Step into Success — Becoming Our Best
“Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.”
The whole key to success however we define it is to feel good inside as a result of our efforts. Those efforts allow us to grow as a person and express more of our innate power in constructive ways.
There is always going to be more to achieve no matter what level we attain. We are perfect within and our outer selves have much catching up to do.
Acknowledging our small achievements along the way is vital to our overall well-being and success since without them we would be stuck in a state of inertia going nowhere. Let’s celebrate being alive and on our own unique paths providing value.
The paradox is that there really is nowhere to go and nothing to get because we are perfect within the power base of the present moment. All we are doing is forgiving ourselves for not remembering Who We Really Are.
In Peace & Love within the Light,
Joseph William
There are plenty of messages within this article, but what shines through for me is never to give up, I am not the most gifted person when it comes to computer skills. When I first started affiliate marketing I hit many hurdles that I didn’t think I could overcome. But the excellent advice to take a deep breath, walk away, and then return to the tasks by taking small steps at a time certainly worked for me. A great reminder that we can all succeed if we get our mindset straight!
Thanks so much for your thoughts and comments. All the Best.
Hi Joseph, I wholeheartedly agree! Success starts on the INSIDE and before you see anything on the outside. It sounds like we’re on a very similar journey. I love EVERYTHING about this article, the quotes you’ve chosen, the way you’ve highlighted important points and the list of practical steps you provided – especially the one about seeing resistance as a blessing revealing our limiting beliefs. And also the bit about acknowledging each small step along the way.
Funny, I’m doing a course at the moment and one of my tasks for this week is to do the very first thing you mentioned – decide what I desire most. It’s a critical first step, isn’t it?
Do you use any other techniques to clear your limiting beliefs? I find Access Bars and Self- Hypnosis to be very helpful and recently have also been trying a technique by Asara Lovejoy called The One Command. Have you ever tried it?
Thanks for your comments, Lauren. Much appreciated. I applied some of Asara’s work some time ago and find it very helpful. Whatever works is the way to go as we are each drawn intutively to the right technique and teacher at the right time. All the best. Joseph
