What is the best lie detector test? I am not speaking out about mechanical devices here. What I am getting at is the ability to perceive when we are being lied to.
This is a very valuable gift as it not only saves us much time, pain, and suffering, but it also builds and enhances a part of ourselves that is our strongest ally. Let’s investigate a bit and see what we discover.
Best Lie Detector Test is not a Device
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
Why is it that we quite often agree without questioning or doing any research at all? It’s either that we take things for granted based on prior data and experience, or we are just too lazy to do any due diligence.
We are quite capable of getting away with this on minor matters, but in the larger scheme of things we can get caught up in a web of intrigue and misinformation without realizing we are being duped.
This is quite evident in much of the advertising we are bombarded with daily. How much of this is accurate? How much due diligence do we do when making a purchase decision? A lot depends on the size of the purchase.
This is all about learning to trust ourselves more than we do any outside factors regardless of their esteemed position or notoriety. We are the captain of our ship and it’s time to take control.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- never assume anything without checking it out
- consider the motive of any person or organization that imparts information
- develop the habit of looking beyond the surface of things
- learn to trust our intuition by engaging it more
- take a bit of time to review history and recognize how many so-called scientific and historical “facts” have changed over time.
- recognize that we “don’t know what we don’t know”
- when considering a purchase of any products or services of any kind get several opinions or offers so that an “informed” decision can be made
- pick any subject that we may be convinced of its validity and do some additional research by asking probing questions; if nothing else we will learn much more about that subject, and at other times we may be surprised about what we discover to be the truth
- make questioning and research a consistent habit and part of our daily routine
Best Lie Detector Test is Within Ourselves
“Human greatness does not lie in wealth or power, but in character and goodness. People are just people, and all people have faults and shortcomings, but all of us are born with a basic goodness.”
We do not have to look very far to discover the best way to determine the truth. It all exists within ourselves at this very moment.
None of us like being lied to, and it is even worse when we lie to ourselves. Once we pierce the cloud cover of our misperceptions and false beliefs we are positioned to see things as they really are.
This does not mean we will have total clarity in all areas of our lives, but it does mean we will be living with a sense of discernment where we never take things for granted or based on surface data.
We reignite our childhood curiosity and become “explorers of the present moment”. We are now less likely to overlook evidence staring us in the face but ignored because we accept it at face value.
By trusting ourselves enough to look within and engage our intuition we have the perfect lie detector. After doing our research and gathering all the information on a particular subject we can then “allow” our intuition to verify what we discovered.
We all know what it is to have a gut feeling about something, and sometimes regret it when we don’t trust it when the truth is revealed. We also know the elation we feel when having trusted our intuitive self and the results are verified.
Our intuition is our best friend in detecting truth from untruth and is a reliable source of information. We just need a little practice in using it.
Ignite Our Intuition
- spend time daily in contemplation and allow our thoughts and feelings to flow
- watch and observe these thoughts and experience these feelings with no judgment
- realize that we are NOT our thoughts and feelings
- stay in the present moment by asking, “Am I present now?”
- make this a daily habit for at least a few minutes per day
- when considering a decision to make after having done the necessary research let go and embrace the uncertainty while patiently awaiting input from our intuition
- act upon our intuitive urges, at first on small endeavors, and track the results
- over time as we see more and more positive results it becomes a habit to just let go and trust our intuitive nature
Best Lie Detector Test Reveals Our True Nature
“Life is an unfoldment, and the further we travel the more truth we can comprehend. To understand the things that are at our door is the best preparation for understanding those that lie beyond.”
Each moment is not only precious but provides the opportunity to discover much more than we can possibly conceive. This is not based on making some remarkable discovery, but simply appreciating what we currently experience.
There is so much in the present moment of which to be aware and for which to be grateful. We are conditioned beings who play out our roles automatically on a daily basis.
To break free from this conditioning requires us to create a new paradigm based on the truth rather than our perceived illusions. With a little time and effort, this is doable for us all.
Hiding behind the facade of our egoic self is our true nature, and as we evolve out of our present conditioning, we not only ignite our best lie detector test but reveal Who we truly Are. The sun is always shining regardless of the weather, and our True Nature awaits our awakening.
Let’s begin with reminding ourselves when we awaken each day that there is much more to life in the present moment than we have previously recognized. This will ignite our awareness and we will observe much more within ourselves as well as our surroundings.
Observation without judgment is the key to unlocking our True Nature and experiencing true joy and happiness now, not later. Things don’t have to be lined up a certain way for us to feel we now “deserve” to be happy.
Choose happiness now, and “allow” our life to unfold according to our unique life purpose. This not only provides us with our best lie detector test but empowers us to live the life we were meant to live.

Hi
I like this article, however, how do we know a lie from truth?
how about a white lie?
There is a saying very popular in China, when a lie is being said more than 100 times, it becomes the truth.
When I was working China, that was what I came across especially in the management meeting, the GM even said, once you said it too often, sooner or later it became the truth especially when more than 80% of the people believed it.
Nowadays, how much can you trust the news in internet? or whatever was said in the news, whether they are lies or facts.
Even reputed news agencies also twisted the news to their favor.
best regards
Chee Shi
You are so correct about a lie being repeated over time and then accepted as a fact. But that doesn’t make it true just as propaganda isn’t true just because people have been brainwashed. A white lie is still a lie. Truth as no degrees or variations. That’s why with all of the misinformation being provided by so-called “reliable” sources it’s important to do one’s own research and due diligence as well as to learn to rely on our inner guide, intuition. Appreciate your many insights, Chee Shi.
