Applying force without effort takes the stress out of getting things done. It also eliminates our desire to procrastinate.
By applying a few simple strategies on a consistent basis we are able to attain a much higher level of production without all of the resistance. This is a very freeing experience that creates a much more enjoyable journey of getting things done.
Force Without Effort — Letting Go of the Outcome
“By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning.”
Trying hard to make things happen is not only frustrating but very often takes us in the opposite direction of where we want to go. It creates a lot of worry and stress as well.
The magic is in the journey because that is where we develop the skills that will last a lifetime. We become the person who is capable of handling success responsibly.
There are no accidents and coincidences in life. It can all be traced back to our mindset.
When we let go of the outcome and enjoy the journey we become more productive and efficient and increase the odds in our favor for a successful outcome. Actually, all outcomes are successful when we learn the lessons offered and make appropriate changes.
Each step in the journey is vital no matter the size of the step taken. Allowing uncertainty to guide us creates more opportunities than could have been previously imagined.
We are led effortlessly to our next step in the process. With each additional step taken momentum builds and any thought of quitting or giving up dissipates.
We also learn to value the resistance that manifests as a gift in revealing our limiting beliefs. They can now be consciously examined to determine whether we should keep them or let them go.
When these beliefs are detrimental to our current progress, it is a no-brainer to release them even when they may have served a useful purpose in the past. Our vision expands the further down the path we travel.
We now begin to understand how force without effort can bring us our desired results much more quickly and efficiently. In addition, we enjoy the journey and celebrate our wins.
A Little Bit About Effortless Productivity
“The ego is only an illusion, but a very influential one. Letting the ego-illusion become your identity can prevent you from knowing your true self. Ego, the false idea of believing that you are what you have or what you do, is a backwards way of assessing and living life.”
Even though productivity is quite often tied to effort and hard work, there is a different path that requires merely a change of mind. A different way of looking at things will create a whole new scenario.
This may sound counterintuitive because much of our conditioning has been about working hard to get what we want. The funny thing is that we may end up working less, or even more, but it won’t be an issue because time flies when we are engaged and having fun.
I can remember times spent with people I cared about and I did not want the day to end. Even as a kid playing with friends and being totally engaged in the activity saw the time just fly by.
The fun is in the activity and not the end result. If the activity isn’t fun it requires either a change of mindset or a change of the activity.
Force Without Effort — Enjoying the Process
“One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today.”
This is the key to accomplishing things using force without effort. It’s about gaining the needed clarity, aligning with what we truly desire and with our life purpose. Once we are aware of our life purpose we can use our force or inner power in ways we have never thought possible.
When we are distracted or unclear about our goals and purpose, it is easy to buy into the illusion of fear and why we are not capable or that the risk is too high. Time spent in self-discovery is meaningful in so many ways.
When we are focused on heart-felt desires our intuition kicks in to lead the way. At this point, it is virtually impossible not to enjoy the process and find meaning in each step taken.
Now for a Few Practical Steps
“Success doesn’t motivate me as much as integrity does. Everyone loses. I enjoy the pressure of showing up every single day, being focused, putting forth my best effort, getting the best out of my teammates, and enjoying the journey.”
- Take some space and relax
- Get into a quiet state and just observe the noise in our heads
- Allow all the thoughts and emotions to flow through without undue attention or focus
- Determine our goal and objective
- Take the first step toward our destination no matter how small
- Be aware and take note of any resistance
- Take the next step and observe feelings and thoughts
- List all uncomfortable feelings and thoughts
- Review the list of thoughts and feelings to determine what we believe that may have caused them
- Keep the focus on the task at hand
- Stay in the present moment to continue to observe thoughts and feelings. Ask, “Am I present now?” to get back into the present moment when we drift away.
- Be okay with mistakes as they lead to a needed change of direction.
- Work for a pre-determined amount of time and then take a break to relax, rest, and recharge
- Acknowledge and celebrate our progress
- Reward ourselves with a desirable activity for the progress made
Force Without Effort — Allowing Our Lives to be Transformed
“Water is the softest of all things, yet it is the most powerful. The ocean patiently allows all things to flow into it. It is always flexible. The Tao is not about grasping, but allowing, like water.”
When we allow things to flow we apply force without effort by tapping into our inner power source. We are transformed as we learn to responsibly use this power for the benefit of all life.
The mystery of life disappears when we go with the flow of life. Our willingness to just let go ignites the part of ourselves that actually “knows” what to do.
Trust is an essential feature of this process. It’s having the courage to choose love over fear.
All it takes is a very small amount of willingness to open the floodgates. This is not rocket science by any means, but in a certain way it can be much more challenging.
The reason this is so challenging is that we are hypnotized into believing we do not possess the power and ability to create our own lives. This is such a paradox when we eventually understand that we were “created to create”.
The noise in our heads, based on false and limiting beliefs, keeps us focused on our powerlessness and feeling like a victim of circumstances. Even though this is an illusion, it is very real to us.
We are afraid of essentially “nothing”, but that fear keeps us stuck. A daily process of awakening is needed by consistently reminding ourselves of the Truth of Who We really Are.
As we awaken we realize the tremendous responsibility we have to consciously use our power constructively. We can then share and extend a hand of helpfulness to others who are simply “asking for love” regardless of their actions and circumstances.
Force without effort becomes easy when we let go and allow the wiser part of ourSelves to transform our lives. There is nothing to do, and nowhere to go. The challenge is already solved.

Some really wise words here, and using water as an example is a perfect description of force without effort, as water is soft and pliable, but also strong and forceful in certain situations.
So finding the most natural path to get what you want in life in an enjoyable way is certainly the answer to a lot of life’s little problems, and I think that the more people that realize this the better.
I have to work on reminding myself daily to work on my goals and find my powers so that I can channel more fully into them.
Thanks, Michel for your thoughful comments and insights. All the best. Joseph
