The power zone is the part within ourselves that is responsible for all of our creative activities. Within this zone, we are able to utilize our inner power to the max.
This is in fact an ideal way to reclaim our freedom in all areas of our lives.
In order to utilize our power zone effectively it is essential that we gain clarity of what we desire to achieve and the specific reasons why.
Without this type of clarity, we will be forcing the issues to achieve goals that may or may not be in our best interest. That is why so many self-destruct after attaining a certain level of success and prosperity.
“Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power.”
Removing the Debris from our Power Zone
We are meant to succeed in all areas of our lives. The only thing holding us back is our very own self-imposed barriers based on fear and doubt.
Many of us just think this is the way it is and that we don’t have any control over this. Does this really make sense? I don’t think so.
We possess so much more than we currently realize. In fact, all the power and strength of the universe reside within ourselves.
There is nowhere to go and nothing to get because we have it all now. Given that this is the case, our next question is how do we access this power of ours?
Right Here, Right Now
All the action takes place right this moment. Finding the present is equivalent to finding our power.
When we are inundated with thoughts of the past and the future we have used our power against ourselves and we are out of the zone in a state of bewilderment whether we realize this or not.
In order to put things in place where we are able to freely access and utilize our power for our genuine heartfelt desires, it is essential that we coordinate our efforts so that all of our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual parts are aligned.
This is more of an “undoing” process than anything else. The debris is blocking access to our power and depriving us of using it on a conscious basis.
It’s all about increasing our awareness of who we really are and what we possess. We are like children in charge of a power plant but are unable to manage the controls.
Accessing Our Power Zone from Within rather than from Without
There is no one to blame including ourselves. It is just a matter of increasing our awareness so that we can effectively and efficiently create our lives by design.
We don’t do that by attempting to manipulate people and circumstances no matter how good our intentions may be. That is a no-win situation primarily because there are just too many variables and factors to play around with that we are unable to control.
When we work from within we are guided intuitively by our Genius Selves who are flawless in directing our lives correctly. We can just let go of the controls and listen for our “marching orders”.
When we are not sure of what to do we do nothing.
This takes a lot of the weight off of our shoulders and ironically enough, we are more productive than ever.
This requires a bit of faith and trust initially as most of us have been conditioned to “do more”, to such an extent that we often feel we never do enough.
Just an Instant Away
When we are able to maintain our focus in the present moment, we find that it just takes an instant to let go of the future and past and immerse ourselves in the miraculous Now.
Now is our present to ourselves because that is where all of our power resides. In the now we are able to access this power in constructive ways, rather than unconsciously misuse it because of false perceptions and beliefs.
Here are a few ideas on how to stay present more often. This takes time, effort, and patience since most of us don’t even realize when we are not present.
The main idea to keep in mind is that what we see outside of ourselves is a mere reflection of our thoughts. When we stray from the truth we “project” rather than consciously create.
The result then is an image of these limited ideas, perceptions, and beliefs that were formed in the past in reaction to a traumatic experience. In order to keep ourselves safe from further pain, we put in place this illusionary defense system.
In order to break through the cloud cover it is essential to take a few steps on a consistent basis.
1) Realize that we are observing our own thoughts in the outer world
2) Be willing to let these thoughts go
3) Understand that these thoughts are based on past experiences
4) Accept that our power zone exists in the present moment
5) Identify our limiting beliefs and recognize that they are not true
At this point, we can now position ourselves to release these limitations and allow the truth of our existence to emerge.
Again, this takes time, patience, and persistence as we have been carrying around this baggage for quite some time. It may get a bit uncomfortable but all is well as we progress one small step at a time.
Remembering the Present in Our Power Zone
Given our willingness to accept that we don’t know what we don’t know, we can begin to emerge from our self-projected dream and create based on the truth of our existence.
This all takes place in the present moment which we tend to forget and retreat to the past and/or future. Once the light turns on it becomes quite apparent that we have been snoozing quite a bit.
Let’s awaken and play full out. Each moment then is recognized for its preciousness. We are now aware of what has always been there.
Here’s an article I wrote a few years back on how to remain in the present moment. This will give you a few ideas that will assist us in staying in the Now.
Reclaiming our Freedom
Because of our current paradigm or conditioning, we have become very good at avoiding the obvious. Even when truth stares us in the face we are blind to it because of our perceptual makeup.
When we finally realize how thin the veil really is that is blocking our view we will be utterly amazed. Just like when it is cloudy the sun still shines, so no matter what we currently believe the truth still exists.
When we let go of our memories and fears of what may happen now or in the future, we are free to access our power zone and create as we were meant to create.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
When it is only us that remain we have re-discovered our True Self. We are now free to explore with abandon and create in ways that were merely fantasy before.
Let us honor ourselves and others each day as we reclaim our freedom and live the authentic life that we were meant to live.
Let the Light within brighten our Path,
Joseph William

Your article on power zone is very interesting. If I read this article some years ago, I’d say it’s full of garbage. But now I know by experience that your genius power is first and foremost mental. Moreover, you must realize that what is one our outer world is the result of our inner thoughts. When we change our thoughts, we can change our world!
Thanks so much for your thoughts on this. Once we recognize that our power is within our lives change in many amazing ways. All the Best.
Such an entertaining article in finding one’s true self, and how to go about adapting to the changes.
I have to admit, you are correct with the thinness of the veil. Once the reality is removed and the truth starts to appear, the fear left behind is beyond imaginable!
Will you produce more articles like this in the future? Very well written indeed!
Thanks so much, Jeremy. I look forward to writing additional articles on this subject, and there are similar articles in my Personal Growth area on my site. All the Best, Joseph
