Well, let’s break this down a bit and see what we discover.

First of all, we experience the majority of the “same” thoughts every day. And, secondly, we mostly pay very little attention to them.

Awareness of what is flying through our minds on a daily basis is a good start. We then can “choose” to replace some of the distractions with more life-enhancing thoughts based on the truth of Who we really Are.

We have all picked up a bit of nonsense along the way that we have accepted as fact. With a little time and effort, we can discover that we have been basing many of our decisions on false premises.

Living in the Dark

It’s like having a blindfold on to what is really happening around us. Instead of being creative, we are merely projecting our false data onto others and our environment. This leads to a perceptual disaster.

The light within us, or the truth, is still there, but we have blinded ourselves to it. Fortunately, we only have to turn on the light to eliminate the darkness and see with a new vision.

Once we are able to see with a “new” vision we can then move forward productively. Our actions will be both effective and efficient and we will see steady progress.

This does not mean that there will not be challenges and roadblocks along the way, but we will be much better prepared to handle them with our revised mindset.

Let’s now create a strategy to prepare our mindset for any goal or objective that we may have. This doesn’t have to be an online marketing business as it can be anything at all. Better grades at school, a more loving and intimate relationship, improved sports performance, or being more effective at our current job.

This mindset will permeate all areas of our lives and we will see significant improvement over time in those areas.

Before we get into any specific steps to take, let me caution you that change and discovering our true power can be frightening at first. Recognizing this now will not only help us progress but will keep us from self-sabotaging once we arrive.

We will find that many friends and family members may not like the changes we are making for any number of reasons. That is why it is important to surround ourselves with like-minded people.

So be prepared not to be fully welcomed into certain circles which is actually a good thing. Let’s begin with a few simple steps in the direction of our goals:

1) Gain clarity on exactly what we want/desire

2) Acknowledge ourselves for all the successes as well as failures that have gotten us to this point in life

3) Understand that there will be challenges along the way

4) Create a plan of action comprised of a series of steps to our destination while recognizing that things will change along the way as more information and experience are gathered

5) Be prepared to handle any resistance to proceeding with the realization that this is a good thing as we are identifying our fears and limiting beliefs

6) Make the first step as simple as possible in order to break the inertia and begin our Momentum Machine

7) Follow our plan and make adjustments along the way

8) And most important of all, Have Fun!

Impostor Syndrome

This is something to ignore or let go of immediately if any of us are bothered by this. What this involves is us pretending we are not good enough to succeed at whatever we truly desire to achieve.

The whole purpose of a business, well beyond income, is to serve others well with a product or service. Even if we just know a little bit more than someone else on a topic we can be of service and help those folks out.

The added bonus is that as we serve more people the more our experience and knowledge will increase enabling us to assist many more others.

So forget impostor syndrome if it is an issue at all, and just go for it.
